7/21: There is a family of skunks living near the boardwalk in Asia Quest. If you notice them causing an issue, please let the Education Office know or call Security.
7/18: Given recent discussions about cyclospora and lettuce, please encourage guests to wash their hands after handling lettuce at Giraffe Feeding. Handwashing stations are located at the end of the Giraffe Feeding deck and in nearby restrooms.
7/15: There are three hydrophones in the water at Stingray Bay. They are measuring ambient sound and will be there for approximately 2 weeks.
7/12: There is a designated radio for Discovery Station - # 1171. Please do not sign this radio out for other areas when Interpreters or volunteers are scheduled in Discovery Station.
7/1: Two fans have been placed in the public aisle of the Manatee Rescue & Rehab Center building to help with the heat. Please turn on/off the fans if you are on the first/last shift.
